Hi BD,
I've got 3 systems here, two 98 and one 95, and the focus loss is occurring
on one of the 98 systems, but not on the 95, or the other 98! I haven't
been able to track down the reason for one 98 system to do this, but not the
other, which seems to be system-specific. Nor do I say that a new feature
needs to be added to solve the problem--that wouldn't be a feature, just a
bug fix! I do agree it is a JFW problem, but, due to the frequency it
happens on my systems, I'd still have to say it is system-specific. By
"system", I mean that there are hardware/software configurations/setups that
this isn't occurring on, and some that it does.
Not sure why you thought I said a new feature was in the works for fixing
this problem...perhaps where I said that we might be able to come up with a
script-based temporary fix while HJ continues to track this puppy down.
One of my systems is a dual-boot system with both 98 and 95, and both
sharing the same D:\JFW33 folder; it happens in 98, but not 95 on this
system? Go figure!
