i would like to ask questionss about how jfw 3.3. works.
1. i've got the accent card running on a windows 95 system with wp8. at
various times and for no apparent reason, i've noticed that the cursor does
not track very well after i press the read all command and then control to
stop the reading. sometimes, the cursor will be right where i originally
started the read all command. yet the reading will be paused 3 or 4 pages
from the beginning. sometimes i've noticed that the cursor is actually a
couple of pages away from where i told it to stop. has anyone ever noticed
this problem?
2. when i alt-tab to the jfw window or particularly when i do an insert-j
to get to that window, i'm unable to alt-tab away to get to other programs.
the only way i can do this is to do a control escape to get to the
start menu, and alt-tab there. i've listen to the 3.2 training tapes which
is what actually came with my product, and haven't found the answer to this
question.
3. i've used elloquence for only a few minutes. as i typed, the speech
didn't seem very clear. as i typed, the only thing i can say is that it
sounded like a person speaking under water e.g. a bubbling like sound. my
sound card is a creative lab sound blaster live, which i guess is a good
card. i've heard a lot of favorable things about elloquence, and i'd like
to be able to use it especially on my laptop. are there any adjustments
that i should make to make the bubbling like sound go away?
