Subject: Reflection Terminal Emulator and JFW 3.3 25
Hello:
I can no longer use my WRQ Reflection Terminal Emulator V6 or V5 with JFW
3.3025.
When I log onto a host with Reflection I hear all my typing echo properly
but when I review the terminal screen with JFW it speaks jibberish. This
is true whether I review with JAWS or PC cursor. I have only the default
scripts active for this application. I have confirmed it on two different
machines both running Win95 When in this situation I can immediately
correct it by doing Insert-F4 to unload JFW 3.3 and then using another hot
key load JFW 3.2 and then review the screen.
I have noticed only one consistency. The commands I type to the host when
reviewed are decremented by 3 ASCII characters. For example if I type
"DIR" then when I press Insert-4 to review that word it speaks as "AFO"
which is 3 letters less than DIR. This works on other commands as well but
does not apply to host displayed text. I am baffled by this as all typed
commands are echoed by host anyway so I do not know why all text does not
follow the 3-letter anomalie.
I have tried HyperTerminal and it does work properly with JFW 3.3-25.
Anyone else using Reflection?
Thanks,
Gerry Chevalier
