Hi Gerry,
I also had the same exact problem with Reflections 1. It worked fine with
JFW 3.00.83; however; when testing it with a 3.30.25 demo; I got garbage for
speech. Here is what I did to fix it:
I pulled down the setup menu and selected terminal. From there I went to
the font tab. The font I was using was R_ANCI; I arrowed up to courier new
and hit OK. After that; everything read normally. Since I am working with
a demo of the newer JFW, waiting for an upgrade; I haven't spent much time
using reflections with 3.30.25 to catch any other surprises; however, I hope
this helps get you going.
