Let me interpose a little experience I had last evening, just after
installing ie and oe5.
For some reason, I decided to use the shortcut on the desktop to setup my
hotkey for oe5. (usually I use the shortcut on the startup menu.)
I got into properties, ctrl tabed to the shortcut tab, and setup my key.
However, when I clicked on ok, a message said that I didn't have authority
to change oe50.lnk. (Hey, it's my machine, I should have ultimate
authority.)
Anyway, I went directly to the shortcut on the startup menu and setup my hot
key without any problem.
Just thought I'd relate this in case anyone else has a similar problem.
