First the question: I use Real Player Plus. I noticed that when I go
to a station that puts the Broadcast.com" logo on it--which covers a large
portion of the screen--that the keyboard command "Control s" may not
actually close or shut down the station when I have finished listening to
it. Thus one would normally close a station with "Control s" and move on to
another Preset. But in the "Broadcast.com" stations, the station keeps
playing. The only way to end the play is to close Real Networks entirely.
Now on stations that are not associated with "Broadcast.com", the "control
s" closes or shuts the station up each and every time. Has any one noticed
this anomaly? is this a missing item in the scripts? I kept trying various
stations and "Broadcast.com" is the deciding factor.
A comment on Real Networks in the International folder in the Presets
where some one had problems with JAWS not speaking. I use about 20
International stations from several countries. Not one of the station names
in my "International" folder has a single accent mark. thus the problem of
JAWS stopping speaking would happen if there were accent marks there. so i
would check the spelling of names of stations in the International folder
before assuming that the now famous accent mark glitch is actually
happening.
