I know what you are saying and it works similar but not exactly as you describe. The web address as it is being typed brings up a combo box in ie 5 and you can down arrow. I know I've said that before and I went back and double checked and find that internet explorer works as I have stated on my machine. I have a friend who is checking to see if his box does as mine. I suspect that the different revisions of internet explorer present AutoComplete in different forms. neither of them is wrong nor right as both work although differently.
