Hello,

I think I missed part of this thread, but have you checked the, "use DOS
screen reader in a DOS box" in the default.jcf using the Config manager.
Also, in the properties for the MSDOSprompt you can set up a path to run a
batch file to load and unload your DOS screen reader. This means that you
no longer need to have it load in the autoexec.bat. You can have a shortcut
to open the DOS window here as well.

Thanks, and I hope this helps.

I've had nothing but problems leaving jfd loaded when I run windows. When
I go in to a dos window I find it easier to load jfd and then unload it
again when I exit back to windows. If they're both using the same synth
then my experience is nothing but trouble.

I used to run an old artic 215 card with business vision and had no trouble
leaving that loaded with windows. It was great to be able to go back into
windows and have the artic tell me something was happening while using the
doubletalk with jfw.
