I have found the same thing. I tried it again the other day with jfw
3.3.26, and it looked like it would work fine, but after a couple of tries,
the same problem started happening again. When I go to the dos box, the
computer would shut up, and if I switched with alt+tab, back to a window,
then jfw would speak again, but when switching back to the dos box, nothing
would speak. wWhat I found before hen I had somebody with sight here, was
that my jaws keys were not working, and when I would try a say line, I was
getting the up arrow keystroke. What made it worse, when I would type
exit, I couldn't close down the dos box. I could not get the dos box to
close to even shut down in windows. So I had to quit running jfd when
loading windows.
