denise their is not much advantage to running norton disc defragger over
what comes in 98.
what comes in 98 works great and if the settings are not anything other
than default you should have no problem.
virus programs do not cause key problems to my knowledge either, only the
defragger in norton does that.
one thing you need to realize if you have norton utilities is their
defragger is not called defragger.
no it has several names like speed disk.
it can be set up to run perfectly safe, been using it since 96 with no key
loss on several systems.
it does require setting it to be safe.
though on my 98 system i never even set it up, no i just use 98 defragger
instead.
