Hello Julio, How about checking the file c:\JFW33\settings\enu\explorer.jgf and search for the word "check". With it's inconsistency, it still sounds like a graphic got labeled "checked" when it shouldn't have. The graphics in Explorer are not check/uncheck graphics, but rather file type graphics. With JFW, even when using the Control+Space, or Shift+Up/Down to mark items for processing, it will say "Selected/Not selected", rather than "checked/unchecked!" Can you give us a list of the shortcut names that display the "checked" message? Chances are that a particular file type graphic got inadvertently labeled with that label, and so you're only hearing it when you come across that particular file type in the Start Menu.
