I have been trying to put a header into a Word document in Microsoft Word
97. I want to put the page number in a particular place in the header so I
am not able to accomplish this using the page numbers dialog box on the
insert menu. A sighted friend has said that there is a dialog that pops up
when you go into the header and footer. This contains several buttons, one
of which is a button that will put the page number in wherever the cursor
is. I was unable to find this button with the JAWS cursor because there is
no label but there is, apparently, a tool tip. The only thing that I could
find in this box is the window title which is Header and Footer and an
AutoText button which allows you to insert AutoText. Is there any way of
finding the page number button and clicking on it using Jaws?
