Hi,

This attachment is a virus!

ps: the reason you think it comes from a friend is that it uses peoples

I've just received this:

========================
".... a potential Trojan Horse email attachment going around. The mail
appears to come from an SVP at Microsoft and says that an attached file will
test and fix your Win9x installation. This is not true.
Microsoft does not distribute software updates to customers in this manner.
If you have customers that receive this email, please confirm to them that
this is not from Microsoft. Their safest course of action is not to run the
attached file, and to delete the email...."

Subject: Free windows upgraide

I have Jaws version 3.3 and Outlook express, while going through my mail
this morning out of the blue came a message saying (Free windows upgrade).
It started to load on it's own,not knowing just what it was I hit the cancel
button. That didn't do any good, it still kept loading so I pulled the modem
cord out of the phone jack to stop it.
Did I do the right thing or was the down load something I should have let
happen?
Thank you so very much in advance.
Glenn L.
