Text File Viewer that works well with JFW

I am desperately looking for a text file viewer similar to the DOS based
List or Readit.  Ideally, they should work well with JFW, and be able to
look within archives allowing the user to preview files like README.TXT or
other text files.  Does anyone know of a utility like this??  

My own search of the net has not proven very fruitful, therefore I am
consulting list members for opinions and recommendations.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
