I think the comments below succinctly highlitht the point that HJ or its
dealers may not necessarily know what cards work until a frustrated
customer calls them. How does HJ test for video cards when this is so
important to the functioning of the software?
As I have said in a previous message JFW v3 worked with this now
incompatible card. Perhaps HJ are not actually expanding the range of card
with which JFW will work.
I understand the logic of replacing the card but given this experience of
history do I run the risk of having JFW as of now work iwth the new card
(checkable at time of installation) only to find that it won't in 12 months
time when the next generaiton of software is released.
Certainly I know th eproblem is not related to the pc brand and that is a
very important point to make.
