to set up jfw to read a dos window, disable the option that reads use dos
screenreader in dos windows for speech. You can get to this option by
going in to the configuration menu, press ctrl-shift-d to load the default
configuration and then press alt-s for the set options menu and then hit
"a" for advanced options.
