good. no, what I elluded to was that in the program or applications
section of your browser's preferences or options depending on what
browser you use, there is a line that starts with mpegurl or something
like that. one of its extentions is pls. removing this line or all
of them if there are multiple ones and then restarting the browser
causes the browser to ask for your assistance in locating a program or
an action to perform on a .pls file when you launch one from an url.
you can then choose winamp. I took this route because even though I
had made sure that pls was included among the default extentions for
winamp, it still did not achieve the desired effect and also because I
have had to do this from time to time over the past several years when
things like this occurred.
