more than one screenreader on my pc

Is it possible to have jfw and other screen readers sitting on your disk?
I mean, I understand that you have to load one or the other, but not both
at the same time.
Lets say jaws doesn't work with something that win eyes does work with. 
Can you then unload jaws and load in win eyes?
