I've a client who just purchased a gateway 450mhz pentium III pc with
an envidia 16mb video card. When connected using jfw3.2 with either
ie or netscape, the pc crashes as soon as a page is loaded. I checked
the gateway site and there aren't any drivers on this other than the
ones he has besides nt support. I also see on the hj site all kinds
of envidia drivers but don't want to muck around in that direction
till I see if it is solvable in another way not wanting to do possible
irreparable damage. He can call tech support he has in home service
but we are looking for a possible solution before going this route.
his colors are 256, res is 600x800, acelleration is full at 100.
We have not yet determined that the pc runs flawlessly without jfw
loaded. Thanks!
