It is not a problem, infact it is an option that you can have inabled or
not. To make windows behave the way you want, open up the view menue, and
press O to go to the options multipage dialog box. On the folder tab (wich
should be the one you land on when this box is opened) choose the radio
button that says something like brousing options: use one window that
changes as folders are opened or closed.
