Usually when I am working between help and a text editor, I will alt + tab
between the two.  When I read through a help topic but want to go back to
the list of topics, I press the letter t to bring back the topic list.  Some
help setups show the topic list next to the topic text.  Pressing f-6 will
toggle you between the two.  Hope this helps
