After you downloaded Winamp2.24 & saved it on your pc,, did you run that
executable which is the installation program?
I did this & it works fine with no crashes or problems.
Hope you get it to run right for it gives truly great sound.

I have downloaded winamp 2.23 and 2.24 on my system. However when I try
playing an mp3, it starts playing the song, but once the song is finisshed
it just crashes the system by giving an illeagal operation. This did not
happen before Jaws was installed. I can't even get out during the song by
alt+f4. Can someone help. Before I was using an older version of Winamp
and it worked fine. But I can't find that anymore.
