Also, the V key stops playing without the need to go to the menu. If you
visit http://www.heartoday.com you can go to the info center and look at the
Winamp tutorial which has an explanation of the very many keyboard commands
in Winamp.

When I have had this same thing happen it was because I tried to get out of
WinAmp while the song was still playing. If you first go to the playback
menu
and hit enter on stop to stop the music from playing then you can go to exit
and WinAmp will exit without an error. However, if you don't stop the music
first it usually will bomb when you exit the software.
