I usually try to stay out of dog fights because you never know who's going
to get bit where.
However, Stacy Smith made a statement in her message (quoted in its entirety

couldn't stand to see JFW bashed in this way."
Where were you a couple of months ago when JFW3.3 came out? Those weren't
very happy jfw users writing in accusing h-j of being money hungry,
corporate sellouts, and the like. We even had a growling standoff from two
of the big heavies on this list. I think they both said things they would
love to take back today.
So, I say, let Mike sound off. We all hate the new speech software and love
the old one when we are trying a new one. Right? Heck, they never work
right--not until we learn how to use them.
So, I say, sound off Mike. We on this list don't owe h-j special allegance,
nor they us, we live in a free-for-all group who yells, screams, and cheers
each other on.
So, I say, sound off, and, when the screaming is done, ask a question and
maybe some one on this list can help.
