Hello,
My dial-up connection options were slightly different.
Actually, for the bedtter.
With version4, the ability to check the Save Password rarely worked, but always works
with v5.
However, the checked status only remains in effect during the current session.
It does not remain in effect after a reboot.
Is there a way of making it apply permanently?

Thanks,
Harry Bassler

Your dial-up connections should not be affected in any way, and as for
Outlook Express, you will be given the oportunity to import all your folders
and address book from the pervious version when you run it for the first
time.
