I like out look. I can tell you how it works for me. With different
computers and different settings, no guarantee that it will work or look the
same to you, but it should be very similar to my experiences at best.
When you open out look, you should be in the list of folders, it should,
depending on your settings, take you directly to your in box. From here you
can tab to open the in box, or whatever box you are on. once it is open,
you can arrow down to the list of messages, assuming you have messages in
there. when you find a message you want to read, just hit enter. After the
first screen is read, hit the space bar to continue if it is a long message.
At the end of the message, hit escape to close the message and continue down
to the next message. while on a message hit these commands for the
following options: control R will reply to sender, control f will forward
to, delete wil delete.
in order to get back to your list of folders do control Tab and arrow down
through the different folders: in box for your in coming messages, deleted
files for your files that have been deleted, drafts for files that are not
completed and still working on them, out box for messages waiting to be
sent, sent messages, for items that have been sent. You can also create
your own folders for personal storage and organization which will be added
to this list.
If you have any attached files, use the jaws command insert A, this will
take you to the individual attached files or list of attached files.
Make sure that you go to the tools menue and select o for options. From
there control tab through out the different page tabs. Be sure and select
that out look should open to in box, jaws likes that for some reason.
When you get into out look, to send a new message do control N. this will
open a new message to be sent. It will first put you on the to field, enter
the name of who it's going to, if they're in your address book, if not,
enter their e-mail address here. Tab to the nex control which is CC field,
i never use it. then tab to bcc field. this field is used to send your
message to multiple recipients without showing the long annoying header of
all your contact's addresses. then tab to subject line and one more tab
will get you in the body of the message. After you've completed the message
do alt T and arrow down one or two times to send or send later.
I hope that rough sketch helps.
