Hi Chris,
I do not use Outlook Express, but it is my understanding that it comes with
Internet Explorer, and has facilities for e-mail and News Groups. I've seen
reference to version 4 and 5 of that product. MS Outlook comes with the
Office Suite. Office 97 contains Outlook 97. There is also Outlook 98 and
now Outlook 2000. Outlook is a multi-function program containing e-mail, a
calendar feature, task scheduler, journal entries, and notes feature. While
I'm certain there are some similarities across all of these products, there
are also major differences. One of the difficulties on lists such as this
is that often, one is not certain which program people are referring to when
discussing strategies and asking questions, because the terms are often used
interchangeably. That certainly can cause confusion.
Best Regards,
Les
