My guess is that the symbol that jfw interprets as "degrees" is being put at
the end of each verse.
If true, you should be able to use your jaws cursor to go to this symbol and
press insert+g to invoke the graphics labeler and label this symbol to
anything you like. You may just want to make a blank.
If this doesn't work--that is, if the graphics labeler says you are not on a
graphics, then use insert+d to invoke the dictionary manager and do the same
thing.
I believe that one of these solutions will work. Let us know if it does
not.
