I had that same problem when I upgraded to JFW 3.3 and IE5 with Outlook
Express. I had to upgrade from 32 to 64 megabytes of RAM. Do you have
Norton System works or another utility package for not only disk checking
but virus detection as well as checking out the cemos and system memory? If
so run your utility programs and see if it clears.

Also, check to see if you are set to 800 by 600 resolution with a color
pallet of 256 colors. Use appearance skeem of Windows Standard.

If you have several programs open at one time this situation sometimes
happens especially if you are low on memory. Hope this helps. Grant
