Hello Flor,
Your directive of NumlockOff put in the file
config.sys
does not achieve the desired objective.
I just inserted that line at the top of my config & rebooted.
The numlock was still On.
Someone awhile ago instructed me that the line:
numlock=off
put at the bottom of the config would do the trick & I have confirmed this.
However, & this is important,
the line must go at the bottom & be followed by a blank line.
I forget who inquired about this yesterday or I would CC this post.
Regards,
JHarry

You can turn the numpad off temporarily or permanently. To turn it off
temporarily, press the top leftmost key on the numpad - the numlock toggle
on/off key. To
turn numlock off permanently, if you wish, go into your config.sys file and
type in NumlockOff (case sensitive)
