Hi,
You can use Wordpad to open file
\config.sys
It's in the root folder or
c:config.sys
Use Control End to go to the bottom of the file.
Hit Enter & you can type:
numlock=off
Hit Enter Then another Enter to insert a blank line.
Then use Control+f4 to save the changed file.
When asked:
Save changes?
type Y & Enter.
Then reboot & when your system comes up,
numlock should be Off.
Best wishes for success.
Harry

when I tried to open config.sys, jaws asked me what program I'd like to open
the file in to, since I didn't know the answer, so I didn't open. What
program should I pick up?
