Subject: Introduction
My name is Barry Musmon and I am a software developer. A
few weeks ago one of your list members, Christina, inquired if
one of our programs was jaws compatible. I am embarrased to
say I didn't know what that was, but soon I became very interested
in producing programs that would be accessable to the Visually
Impaired. I have been working hard ever since, not just to
make them compatible but to make them as usable as possible.
Before I jump in with a million questions, I need to know what
the protocol is here, are technical questions allowed or should
I address those to HJ? Does anyone on the list know how I could
get these programs either sanctioned by HJ or posted on their site
or both. I must say I have emailed them about the subject and
haven't gotten a response. I will wait before judging what that
means.

written for screen readers, and the best you have are programs
that are somewhat compatible. I would be working on everyday
usage, no games but more programs that impact, I think, quality
of life, like scedulers and checkbooks and general data manipulation.
Now it is my job to determine why there is so little written, is it because
there is just no market or is it because the developers perceive no
market. I am not looking to build an empire but I do this for a
living so I need to be able to make it work economically.
My plan is simple. To package everyday usable programs together
and offer them on the net. We support our programs via a list
server and this seems to work well for these programs aswell.
I am not altogether sure this message is appropriate, but I am sure
the moderator will block me from future postings if it isn't.

or post it to the list, or better yet both, because who knows.
