Did you make the necessary changes to Windows 98 so that your desktop is the
Classic Desktop and View as Web page is unchecked, etc.?
Did anything else change, like for instance video drivers, etc.? Have yoiu
made sure that under Display background is showing none? Have you got any
desktop themes loaded?
