JFW troubles

Hi: 
I have recently upgraded from Win to Win98.
I am using JFW 3.20.31.
I have since had no end of troubles.
- Start Menu and any other Menu window became blank - showed icons but no
text.
- Web pages show graphics only, again no text
- I can hear Jaws speak as I am typing but I cannot go back to read. Must
route Jaws to PC cursor in order to read.
Any suggestion will be very much appreciated.
