I don't use JFD, but here is something you could investigate. Does JFD
require the DOS drivers for the dectalk? if so, you are going to need to
make a change to JFW. I believe that the cectalk express installed option
on JFW loads its own driver and doesn't require the dos drivers to be
loaded from autoexec.bat. However, if you are running the JFD program,
chances are that you may need the dos dectalk drivers, unless I am wrong.
If that is the case, you cannot use the dctalk express option, since the
jfw driver and the dectalk driver will conflict. You will need to either
add lines to jfw.ini changing the synth or reinstall jfw and pick the
dectalk pc/express option during teh install, or just change to a software
synth as the default synth in jfw. If I am wrong in JFD's configuration, I
fervently appologize.
