Dear Chris, Thanks to you and one other person who kindly wrote me. What I was driving at was this--"Is there any *downside* to keeping all that 2.1 software--in terms of *messing up JAWs*? If any one has any ill-effects, please write me. Also i have a very interesting problem that two other people also have. I went to a voice chat room and joined in the conversation. I heard my own voice repeating 10 seconds later. I have a microphone on my monitor that is built in. This question is relevant as more JAWS users migrate to voice chatting. Do you know how to set things up so that the *feedback* is not heard *after* one has spoken the words? I have been told that this is independent of sound cards. Write me privately--if --you know. And Chris and others, thanks so much for your help!!!! ----- Original Message ----- From: chris cant <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Wednesday, September 15, 1999 2:32 AM Subject: Re: Thanks to all who sent information regarding s b live drivers > Hi there, > > i have installed the 2.1 software now and i haven't seen any difference > with jfw to the detrement of the program anyway! however this may give > some more new drivers and programing on this update that we may be able to > use with the new jfw3.31 thats out soon! i will always get these things > and install them to see if anything inproves my screen readers abilitys! > > Regards Chris Cant.. > > aAt 17:18 14/09/99 -0500, you wrote: > >GreetingsNow that many of you are using the 2.1 software with the s b live > >sound card, what modifications --if any--did you make to make it work > >well with JAWS?
