Well, as long as you put it in a different directory (which btw is the
default) than your previous JFW installation there should not be a
problem.  But Novice users should probably stay away from any beta.
But the IE changes should be tempting for anybody.

I have had JFW 3.3.1 crash on certain web pages.  Unfortunately I
can't give the site address for someone else to try because it is
password protected.  That's too bad and I'm going to have to try to
duplicate the problem with some other site.

After the crash JFW will not reload until the offending site is closed
as well.  So it's definitely a JFW problem.
