JFW 3.31 and I.E. 5?

Hello,
If installing the JFW 3.31 will it automatically update my I.E. 4.01 to
version 5? Or can I not udate the I.E. and stay with version 4.01? I have
heard that there is alot of problems with updating to this and using the
Outlook Express, is this true?  Also, if I do update to  I.E. 5 will it take
all rules from my Outlook Express  and move them to the new version or will
I have to put those back in?Thanks!
