Hello. Well... just finished downloading and installing the release
candidate for JFw 3.31. Overall the program seems more stable then the
previous beta release. Did have a problem with the initial
install. Seemed like the setup program would unzip the JFW program files
into the temp folder without a hitch. After Dr. JAWS told me nothing
needed to be changed on my system, the program stalled. I needed to do a
warm reboot. When the system re-started, the setup program for JFW 3.31
started again automatically. Dr. JAWS did inform me there was a problem
with the setup process, and gave me two choices. I took the ignore method
(Press Escape button) one. Was able to then follow the prompts to install
the program without a problem.
I had the same problem with the previous beta release. Is this a bug with
the setup program of JFW 3.31? No matter how many times I tried the
executable setup program, the same problem always was present. Has anyone
else noticed the same quirk? I'm using a 500MHZ PIII system running
Windows98 2nd edition.
