I do agree with the functionality of the Virtual PC cursor. Just don't
think it should be the default navigation cursor for the IE browser. A lot
of web sites I go to just want to read specific information located within
these pages. In general, I can use the JFW find feature to locate that
portion of the page, and use the JAWS cursor to read from that point. The
Virtual cursor starts reading the entire page (Graphics, links,
etc...). This can be a hindrance when you know what point of the page you
want to get to.
Believe me, the function comes in handy when reading newspapers and other
article based web sites, but for a page full of links and graphics, it can
be a nuisance. You know hearing "Link", "Graphic" etc over and over
again. Now here's an idea for HJ. If you had say a second to press a
hotkey that could click a link or graphic read/found by the Virtual cursor
to activate it, the function would be much more useful. Tried using the
JFW equivalent to the left mouse click (Slash on numpad) but it didn't
work. Maybe I'm not fast enough, or the feature hasn't been thought of yet.
