Technically you should hit alt-down arrow to open a combo box.  Many times 
this isn't critical but especially one the web it is a good idea and 
sometimes necessary.   Some web sites, such as http://www.latimes.com, have 
combo boxes that automatically select the next choice if you merely press 
down arrow.
