Hi,

I would like to comment on your point two concerning alt-down arrow in combo boxes.
First and foremost, alt-down arrow is a
standard Windows keyboard operational command that opens a combo box. For just this
reason alone, without any further
specifics, H-J needs to make sure that JFW behaves appropriately when this command is
issued by the user. JFW should *never*
interfere with standard Windows operations. The scripts and keyboard assignments for
alt-down arrow and alt-up arrow should,
therefore, be corrected for all cases in the default configuration files. My
recommendation is that the sentence navigation
commands be moved to other keys.
The use of alt-down arrow is vitally important in certain combo boxes in web pages
when a regular down arrow causes the web
pages associated with the newly focused item to be loaded automatically. Kelly's
example at http://www.latimes.com is excellent.
I suggest that you take a good look at that, and other web sites, if you do not
understand what we are talking about.
Thanks.
