I agree with you, David. I use notepad and write my own html. I

find it difficult to use an editor, they frustrate me and I don't get
the
look and feel of a site as I want it to be. Keeping up with changes

takes a little time, but one I feel is well worth it.
I am always being asked what editor I use and when I state 'notepad',
I get
many "wow's" you write your own! Of course to me it is simple, but to
one
just starting out, it can be daunting trying to understand all the
tags and
how to use them. My advice: Find someone experienced writing their
own
code and ask them to help you. Pay a tutor and in no time you will be
writing some very nice, what you want, web pages. And if done
correctly,
accessible web pages! What a bonus.
