Hi Kevin,
Go into Config Manager.
SHIFT+CONTROL+D for Default config.
ALT+S for Settings Menu.
S for Synthesizer dialog.
You will be placed in a list of the synthesizers you have installed. Arrow
up or down to the synth you want as default.
Hit the OK Button.
CONTROL+S to save.
ALT+F4 to exit Config Manager.
That's it.
