RE: Changing the default synthesizer without re-installing

Open the Configuration Manager by pressing insert+f6.

Press control+shift+d to open the default file.

Press alt+s, then s to get to the Set Options Menu and invoke the
Synthesizer Dialog.

Change your default synthesizer by using the combo box and press enter
when done.

Press control+s to save the changes.

Close the Configuration Manager with alt+f4.
