Hi Folks: I have just installed the new JFW 33.1.35. Seems to be okay with
the exception of still speaking to much information. Also when using IE5
and trying to fill out a form, it does not speak the information typed into
the fields. Has anyone else had this problem? If so how did you fix it?

Hi Ian,
Okay, I'll try to do this step-by-step, but if I miss something, or
something is unclear, let me know. To create a shortcut:
1. Go to the start menu with left Windows, choose settings with letter s
and press enter, and then choose Taskbar with letter T.
2. Shift Tab once to get to taskbar property options.
3. Control-tab to go to start menu.
4. Tab once and choose customize/add and press enter.
5. You are then asked for the command line, which is the path to the
program you wish to run. Let's use JFW 3.31 as an example. If you have
your folder as c:\jfw331, then you would type the command line as follows:
c:\jfw331\jfw.exe. If you have jfw 331 in a different folder or drive,
substitute that info on the command line.
6. Tab to Next and press enter.
7. Now, you'll be asked for the folder and will be placed in the programs
tab. Type the letter J until you hear JFW 331.
8. Choose next.
9. You'll be asked to name your shortcut. Call it something like JFW331,
all one word with no spaces, but you can call it anything you like.
10. Tab to the finish button and press enter. You've now created your
shortcut.
11. You now wish to assign a shortcut key to that shortcut, JFW331.
12. Bring up the find Menu in Windows, hit right windows and F key
combination.
13. If you named your shortcut JFW331, then type in JFW331 and press enter.
14. Arrow down through the list and when you hear JFW say "jfw331", use
insert-page up to read the line. This will tell you if you are on a file
folder or Windows shortcut.
15. When you hear "jfw331 Windows Shortcut", then press alt-Enter to bring
up the properties for that shortcut.
16. If necessary shift-tab once to hear "general tab."
17. Once on general, Control-Tab to the next field, "target".
18. Now you are ready to assign your hotkey. Tab until you hear JFW ask for
the hotkey to assign. If you have no other keys assigned, type the letter
J, and Ctrl-Alt-J will be defined. If you wished ctrl-shift-J, then type
Cap J in this box.
19. Tab to the OK button and press enter. You are finished. Use the same
procedure to assign a hotkey to JFW 3.30.26 as described above.
I know it sounds complicated, but it goes quickly. Let me know if you need
