I am running the new release of JFW on a Windows '95 machine with
the latest version of Dec-Talk's Access-32 software synthesizer
downloaded from the JFW web site.

I have found that hitting the Control key to silence speech does not always work
when there is a large amount of information that is to be read from the screen.
In particular, if Say-All is on (by using
Insert+S) and I toggle between applications using Alt+Tab,
it can sometimes take 5-10 seconds to stop speaking. In the meantime, the computer is
hung.

This is not a problem with Eloquence, which appears to shut up quickly and properly.
thus, I am now using Eloquence for the time being, although I much prefer
the speech quality of Access-32.

Has anyone else experienced such problems? Any ideas?

Thanks.
