We had to make a hard decision on the "Numpad" problem.
If the user had JFW 3.30 and ran the JAWS merge they would get the word
"numpad" spoken before each item they pressed on the numeric keypad. This
was the result of an undiscovered bug in JFW 3.30.
We had only one way to remedy this problem. We could have left key labels
out of the merge. This, of course, would have meant that all of the other
labels, which the users added themselves, would be lost.
Certainly, this was a lose-lose situation. We elected to keep the users'
data intact as removing the word numpad in the key labels dialogue is pretty
simple. Once the word is removed in the configuration file, they will not
be merged into future installations of JFW.

My version of 331.35 does not say numpad before those numpad numbers
either. However, I believe I am in the minority, because I upgraded from
3.2 by using the May 99 C D (33.022) and then went straight to the 331.35
(Oct. 15) which was downloaded. By this I mean, I skipped a lot of
betas. Perhaps that is why my version does not say "numpad". HOpe thisis
