Hi,
I will address your questions point by point:
1.
It is important to be a bit more specific with these kinds of errors with dial-up
networking. What is the specific error you are getting,
and when is it being displayed? Reconfiguration of dun is usually no big deal.
2.
Very bad. It sure can be bad when you don't have all the software that you need,
especially your operating system. I mean, what
happens if the computer crashes? Yes. Go for the Windows 98 Second Edition update.
In fact, if you don't even have your
Windows 95 software, you better consider purchasing the full version of 98se. It'll
be more expensive, but you'll have everything
you need for the longer term.
Regards.
