`Sorry about the crossposting but if HJ's tech support was any good this
wouldn't be necessary. Great product guys, pitty the tech support doesn't
match the quality of the product though.
I'm currently a jfw3.2 user and don't have the authorization to upgrade to
a later one for free. I'm in the process of trying out jfw3.3 for a while
before I buy the 3.31 upgrade. The problem is, I can't install the damned
thing.
For some reason whenever I try to install the program with the custom
install option I get a really weird error message. This is a direct copy
of that message:
The network path was not found.
Unable to open file: "c://Synth.inc"
@Write()
I then get a retry or cancel option. The retry button when pressed gives
the same result. My only option is the cancel option which drops me out of
the installation. I'm running win-95B and I'm not running any kind of
network nor do I have any intention of running a network. Windows
networking isn't even installed. Any suggestions as to what might be
causing this error and how I can stop it happening might be appreciated.
The guys at hj spouted some crap about anti-virus programs but I very much
doubt that has anything to do with it since I don't run any automatically.
The only time my system checks for viruses is when I tell it to.
Thanks in advance
